Survive or Thrive?
What do you REALLY want?
When was the last time you ACTUALLY answered this question?
Often, we just get going with life and don't stop to think about what we truly want to accomplish.
This is why we face so much frustration, disappointment and regret.
We. spend too much time "STRADDLING" the fence because we are afraid to COMMITT!
We fear picking one path will limit our choices.
You're right, it WILL limit your choices.
But just remember, if you chase 2 rabbits, you get neither.
We cannot serve 2 masters.
We are either going to Thrive or Survive.
Dr. Martin Luther King said "There is something of a civil war going on within all our lives."
A war of conflicting desires.
In simple terms, we want to lose 30 pounds and look good at the pool, but we also want to go for drinks and pizza on Saturday.
We want to have more money, but we don't want to give up Starbucks and Lululemon.
We want to have more time for family and friends, but we waster 2 hours of our lives on Facebook/ Social Media each day.
If you don't pick ONE path on these issues, then you will be MISERABLE.
You have to choose.
Yes, you can SURVIVE, these choices, but is that what you want to do?
Or do you want to thrive?
If your answer is yes, I want to thrive, then you have to start!
The Start is the Hardest Part.
Because you have to stop, think and plan.
But, if you get REALLY clear on what you want and then go after that, then you will achieve the success you truly want.
You will reach your FULL potential.
Discipline weighs ounces, regret weighs tons.
You will regret when your potential is unmet.
Do what really matters.
