Being strong is not just physical.  It is a mentality.

It’s the confidence that you are capable of FAR MORE than you thought possible.

It’s about taking the challenges that happen in our lives allowing them to change us inside and out!


We live in a world of comfort.  We all have a comfort zone!  Comfortable is good, if you are looking for a couch to sit on, a doctor to trust or babysitter with whom you’ll leave your kids.

BUT,  comfort has never created an opportunity for growth.  Comfort doesn’t allow us to gain or grow the qualities that will increase our likelihood of success.

Think about it, when was the last time you physically or mentally grew when you were comfortable?

Were you comfortable:

  • Starting that new job?
  • Beginning a Family?
  • Going to class at a new school?
  • Achieving or maintaining a health goal?

​Probably not, at first.


It takes courage to start something new or to achieve a goal.  It takes strength.

Physically Strong

There are all sorts of benefits of being physically strong.  You can:

  • Lose Weight
  • Change Body Composition
  • Increase Flexibility
  • Reduce or Prevent the Risk of Chronic Illness

But, there is one reason why all of that can occur, Mental Strength.  Jen Sinkler, Strength Coach, Author and Speaker says, “Strength has a funny way of bleeding into other areas of your life, in the gym and out.”

I Agree

There is nothing like a physical challenge to push you past your limits to prove to yourself that you are capable of far more than you thought possible.  In order to achieve better health or weight loss you must:

  • Begin with a goal in mind
  • Develop a plan
  • Stay Disciplined
  • Push Yourself Past a Previous Limit
  • Continue to work even when you don’t feel like it

The strongest people I know have overcome obstacles and become stronger than they were before.  I believe that we can all develop a level of strength that far exceeds our expectations.

You are capable of more than you know.  You are capable of being Strong!
