Yesterday we talked about not waiting for the perfect time.

We often let perfect become the enemy of great.

We think we need to have everything lined up before we can take action.

Truly though, if you want to make progress, you need to start.

Ready to lose weight?

Start moving, TODAY.

Stop eating foods that take you away from your goals.

Yes, I am a huge fan of defining your goals and purpose.

I think that setting priorities is important, if not critical for success.

But, don’t let it cripple you.

We will often hand people a sheet that helps to establish priorities.

Sometimes, they stare at the paper with a lost gaze.

“I don’t know the answer to all these.”

“I’m not sure what I want to do.”

Ok, I totally get that.

But, start moving in the direction of your goals.

Here’s the truth.

You’re going to change your goals anyway.

I can almost guarantee you that what you think is important right now will change.

When I weighed 300 lbs, my goal was to not be that heavy.

6 months later I wanted to compete in a bodybuilding competition.

It took me a year to get there, but I did it.

Then I wanted to compete at a higher level.

They goal line moves.

That is ok.

In fact, I think it is great!

Start by taking a small step towards your goal.

There is no thing as 1 giant leap anyway.

If you start moving today, you will be better tomorrow.

If you do that again, you start a streak.

Then you can change.


Then Adapt.

Your meal prep might not be perfect today.

That’s ok.

Your lunch might not be perfect.

Do you best (really your best).

If you wait for perfect, you’ll be waiting forever.

So, unless you are a sniper.
