Typically, off an athlete sprains an ankle, the recovery looks like this: ❌ Ice ❌ Rest ❌ Brace (or tape) ❌ Play Little attention has is given to actually restoring mobility and stability in the ankle. If it doesn’t actively hurt, then everything is ok, right? No. If you sprain your ankle, you have a 5 times higher risk of tearing your ACL. WHAT? Yes, 5️⃣ x increase in risk. WHY? I just joined Movement Fitness and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. All the instructors are not only incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, but super kind and encouraging.
